The 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT combines performance and presence in a way few four-door cars can. Mechanically, it’s based on an E-class wagon rather than a GT sports car, but that doesn’t matter – it behaves much the same as a two-seater. The inline-six in the GT43 and GT53 models have a lot of muscle but it is the GT63 powered twin-turbo V-8 that is the apex predator of the range.
